Bamboo is a type of especially resilient grass that grows incredibly fast (up to 3 feet per day!) with very little human intervention. That means little to no irrigation and no pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Bamboo prevents soil erosion, and produces 35% more oxygen than an equivalent stand of trees. The fiber can also be transformed into hight performance yarn with a much lower environmental impact than other fiber sources.
These socks are also designed in the Lost Sierra, made in small batches, in a small factory right here in the USA.
